Why should I sign my Kids up for Safari Sports?
Our organization is customized to fit the needs of most families. We are affordable, convenient, our coaches & admin team truly cares about each kid and parent in our organization. We don't just say we care: We show that we care throughout our actions. We also have an open door policy where parents can reach out to our Admin/HR team through phone / text / email at anytime.
What if my kid(s) have Minimum Experience or is at a Developmental Skill Set?
No Prior Basketball Experience is needed with Safari Sports. In Fact, majority of the kids in our leagues are at a Developmental Skill Set. We have a mixture of all skill sets in our leagues from development, - intermediate - advanced. We are known for Developing kids to reach their full potential.
What are the age ranges for participation:
1st - 3rd Grade &
4th - 6th Grade for McKinney, TX. Both Divisions above + Pre K - Kinder for Tyler, TX.

Is Practice & Games on Same Day?
Yes it is. Our league is based on convenience & affordability for parents & kids. We have hosted many leagues and have offered both same day practice and games & separate. Practice & Games on same days has had a much better success rate for our parents and athletes.
What's the purpose of Safari Basketball Camp?
Basketball Camps is an Excellent Opportunity for kids to development and to enhance they basketball IQ and overall understanding of the game. Safari Sports begins our Basketball Leagues with a Basketball Camp to ensure our athletes have the opportunity to begin with the foundation needed to succeed throughout our sports league.

What are the costs involved in Safari Basketball?
Our league price vary per location as some leagues have two days reserved each week for practice and games and other have 1 day reserved (practice & games on the same day). Outside of league prices: we charge a $25 for basketball Jersey (players wear black shorts) and admission fees to go toward operating cost such as refs, coaches (Our Staff are not volunteers), gym rental, trainers, and other additional costs. We do not charge any admission fees for practice sessions.
Can returning players use the same Jersey the following season?
Yes, you can. This will help save returning players from purchasing New Jerseys unless it's a personal preference. We normally assign teams different colors unless the same team returns the following season. If team color do change, then returning players can swap their jersey with safari sports for no additional price.
How long is Safari Sports Basketball Leagues?
Our Basketball leagues range from 4-5 weeks depending on location. Please confirm schedule under your desired Safari Sports Location on our website.

How does Safari Sports Communicate throughout the Season
Can I Bring my own Team to Safari Sports Basketball League?
Can I submit registration and pay later or pay flex payment to hold my kid(s) spot?
Do you Offer Refunds?
Majority of our communication is through our Safari Parent Facebook group that’s assigned to your child’s team. Please join/create a facebook account once parent group is provided to you. We also communicate through email as well. We will send a text/email within 24-48 hrs once you complete your kid(s) registration which provides personalized welcome flyer & facebook group information to join.
Yes, we encourage coaches to bring their own teams. Our goal is to help as many kids as possible to develop and reach their goals on and off the court. We prefer teams to have at least 6-10 kids. We can also assign kids if additional player are needed
Yes, you can. We understand that everyone has different so we provide flexible payment arrangements to our parents.
No Refunds. If your kid is unable to participate in their registered Sports League; You will be credited a registration for an upcoming Safari Sports League of your choice.
